About Us

Founded since 25 Apr 2012

MSF is a NON-PROFIT Organization, which is set up officially and Registered under LABOUR ORGANIZATION’s Rules and Regulations.

We are funded by membership subscriptions, grants from foundations, sponsorship, and a donation from Seafarers Recruitment and Placement Services Providers.

We would continue and expand on MSF’s works, possibly with help from foreign organizations such as the International Labour Organization (ILO) and International Transport Federation (ITF).

The Myanmar Seafarers Federation is an organization that works to promote and support the welfare of seafarers in Myanmar.

We have acted quickly to protect the welfare of seafarers in need. This has been our mission for over a decade and we’re very proud to be supporting and helping existing members as well as NON-member and their families.

To Be Responsible For The Seafarer Help 365 Days A Year.
To Endorse The Application Of The Relevant Sections Of The Maritime Labour Convention 2006.
To Protect The Rights Of The Seafarers.
